This is the Web site of the GBS Support Group. We are a registered charity based in the United Kingdom that offers support and information to those affected by Guillain-Barré syndrome, CIDP and other dysimmune neuropathies throughout Britain and Ireland.

  • The GBSSG held its AGM on 17 April. The business included:
    • The adoption of the Annual Accounts and the Trustees Report for 2009.
    • Changes to the Constitution.
    • The appointment of Professor Richard Hughes and Air Marshal Ian Macfadyen as Patrons.
  • The GBSSG held its Silver Anniversary Conference on 17 April.
  • Do you spend several hours a day caring for an adult aged 18-70 years old who has GBS or CIDP? Would you like to influence change in services that allow carers to take a break? If the answer to both of these questions is "yes" then we would like to hear from you. More
